On October 15th 2016 vintage racing for pre & post war cars and motorcycles was held on the beach in Pismo Beach California, unfortunately for the events organizers, racers and fans the west coast was hit by the remnants of Typhoon Songda. Despite the worsening weather conditions a few hours of exciting beach racing was held until the conditions and high tide made it no longer tenable.
