Urban Light

Urban Light

Installed in 2008 artist Chris Burden's Urban Light exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art is a collection of 202 vintage cast iron lamps that once lit the streets of Los Angeles and it's truly an amazing display that can be seen year around from Wilshire Blvd.
Chris collected and restored all these street lights over several years and then made this wonderful sculpture and donated it to LACMA
